Mike's Watersports at Konnos Bay, Cyprus

Water sports are more than just a business for us; they are a way of life. Founded in 1982, Mike's Watersports began with a simple mission: to share the unparalleled beauty of the Mediterranean Sea with visitors and locals alike. For over 40 years, we have grown alongside the Protaras coastline, evolving from a small beachfront operation into one of the most respected and technologically advanced watersports centers in Cyprus.

We have watched generations of families return to our dock. The children who learned to water ski with us in the 1990s are now bringing their own children to experience the Banana Boat today. That multi-generational trust is the foundation of our reputation.

We do not just operate on the water; we protect it. We are incredibly proud to operate a fully solar-powered workstation on the beach. By harnessing the Cyprus sun, we power our kiosks, payment terminals, and battery-charging stations (for our Seabobs and communication gear) with zero emissions.

Furthermore, our entire team is trained in "Leave No Trace" marine interaction. We actively educate our renters on how to safely navigate around the Posidonia seagrass meadows and how to observe the local sea turtles without disturbing their natural habitat.

We believe that the environment shapes the experience. We chose Konnos Bay (nestled at the edge of the Cape Greco National Park) because it is geographically blessed. Surrounded by steep, pine-covered cliffs, the bay is naturally protected from the heavy winds that hit other Protaras beaches.

This creates a "glassy," flat-water haven that is absolutely perfect for both high-speed activities like wakeboarding and serene, eco-friendly adventures like Stand-Up Paddleboarding.
